DUE: April 26 (At the start of class) VALUE: Up to 10 points LENGTH: 750-800 words (3-4 pages) Read the book: TEACHINGS OF DON JUAN: A YAQUI WAY OF KNOWLEDGE (Carlos Castaneda) Summarize the book, and then compare this method of "knowing" with that of "scientific method" (summarize Kendall, Chapter 2). What are the similarities and differences? How might our view of the social world be different if we did sociology from Don Juan's perspective? (Remember: On supplemental credit, it's either you do well or you don't, because it's intended for A students. Although you can use if for extra credit, you aren't graded any easier.
