Extra Credit--Social Justice

DUE: Wednesday, October 20 (at start of class)
VALUE: Up to 10 points
LENGTH: 750-800 words (3-4 pages)

As some have noticed, this class is a SOCIAL JUSTICE based class. What does
this mean?
Do some internet/Google and/or library research answer these questions
in essay format (not point-by-point short answer):

1) What is social justice?

2) List three URLs that link to social justice websites,
and are these sites useful

3) List three books from a Net surf that you think look
interesting enough to read, and that you'd recommend
for extra credit in a course.

4) Is "social justice" a perspective that really fits in sociology (and why)?

5) How has this class reflected social justice issues?
