Internet Component of Soci 288)

This class has a strong internet component. Because summer terms are
only 8 weeks, it is CRITICAL that you participate regularly.

You must do two things:

Immediately after class, sign up for the class email discussion list.
You do this by sending an email EXACTLY LIKE THIS:

 1) In the subject line, type:  subscribe  
 2) In the message line, type this:
      subscribe soci288   yourfirstname  yourlastname

(note: yourfirstname is YOUR first name, and last name is YOUR last name.
Example - for me, I would type:   subscribe soci288 Jim Thomas

Then, send it to this address:   listproc@venus.soci.niu.edu


NEXT:

Subscribe to WebBoard. To do this, use netscape, Explorer, or some other
browser, and go to:
   http://www.clas.niu.edu:88/~jthomas2

Then, just follow the new user signon instructions.
