POINTS: Up to 10 Due: NO LATER THAN Thursday, December 9 LENGTH: Five pages (about 1,200 words) This final supplemental credit is designed for people just a few points short of an A. It is *NOT* easy, and it requires that you draw from all material covered in class, tours, text, WebBoard, and all other resources. Read this Powerpoint presentation from the Corretional Accrediation Managers Association. Then, explain how you would inspect Stateville, what you would look for, what you would probably find (drawing from class discussions and debriefing) and how you would implement changes. Your paper should include a brief summary of what "accreditation" means, why it's important and what purpose is serves, and an in-depth summary of the conditions you would see if you inspected Stateville. NO BS or fluff.
