June 13 Class Outline

On the first day of class, June 13 (in both DeKalb and Hoffman Estates) , the 
following will guide lecture and discussion:

1) Introductions

2) Alligator game

3) Discussion: 

   a) What are the types of Social Justice?  Read Michelle Maise

   b) Are there Christian antecedents for contemporary views of social justice?
      (review the Christian Bible, and read the liberation theology links)

   c) Is social justice only a social construct or set of relativistic normative
      principles, or are that transcendent (something above us and outside of us)
      that guide it?
   d) What is the relationship between social justice and ethics?
