You should consult with other team members before submitting. Only those
participating in both parts of the question get max points. Either your
team leader, or the group as a "democracy," can work this out as an
exercise in "justice."

REMEMBER: **ONLY** the team leaders can submit the completed quiz.

The winners and correct answers will be announced Tuesday, July 4.

This one deals with the Plato readings. Plato linked Ethics and
Justice. In the Republic, he (through his characters) identifies
five different grounds/justifications for justice, similar to many
of our views today. Match the character to his view of justice:

1. In Plato's The Republic, the person who believed that justice was the
the protection of the "interests of the stronger" was:

        a) Glaucon
        b) Thrasymachus
        c) Polemarchus
        d) Socrates
        e) Cephalus

2. The view that justice is "doing good to your friends, harm to your enemies"
   is closest to:

        a) Glaucon
        b) Thrasymachus
        c) Polemarchus
        d) Socrates
        e) Cephalus
