DISCUSSION OF SPECK VIDEO
 
Now that you have seen the video on Ricard Speck, consider the
following questions:
 
1. How does what you saw in the video differ, or correspond to,
your conceptions of what a maximum security prison is like?
 
2. What was the point of the video? Do you agree or disagree?
 
3. From what you have seen in this video, would you suggest that
we make prisons tougher?
 
4. What was it Speck was doing that was "really" so bad? What problems
does this pose for administrators, and how should they be resolved?
