In addition to the extra credit given in class, additional extra credit will also appear here once every two weeks or so. The extra credit is not necessarily easy, but it is an opportunity to enhance your grade. There are several rules: 1) Extra credit CANNOT be used to push you into the A range. You must earn the A on your own. However, it does symbolize class participation, so you can enhance the participation part of your score. 2) When asked to provide information, you MUST also provide the source where you found it, usually in standard bibliographic form or complete (and workable) URL. 3) Like any assignment, extra credit is "graded." That is, if you do a complete job, you receive complete points. If not, the freebies are adjusted accordingly. Extra Credit will periodically appear here (once or twice a week). Unlike extra credit given in class, which is worth only 3 points and due the following class period, here you will usually (but not always) have longer and the points will be worth more. You may email your extra credit to me (jthomas@sun.soci.niu.edu) or give it to me hard copy. ======================================== Here's the EXTRA CREDIT LIST Here's the SUPPLEMENTAL CREDIT LIST
