Part of the fun of the net is finding little treasures of information.
Here, you will find occasional quests that are worth up to
five points each. Send them to me email or give them to me hard copy
in class.

<> Quest #3 (due July 14) - Somewhere on the Net you can
   find at least 5 major newspapers that serve metropolitan
   areas of 1 million or more. Find the URLs for at least five.
  (NOTE: You MAY NOT use Chicago, New York, or Los Angeles).
   Obtain one story related to delinquence from any of the papers
   and include it with your URLs.

<> Quest #2 (due July 7) -  Somewhere in the U.S., a woman named
   Janet Jackson is often confused with the singer of the same name.
   The incarcerated Janet Jackson is serving natural life.
   In what prison is the incarcerated Janet Jackson?

<> Quest #1 (due July 7) - Somewhere on the net are pictures painted
   by an Illinois Death Row inmate named Mario Flores. Prior to
   incarceration, Flores was a star highschool athelete. In what sport?
