Length: two to 3 pages (about 500 words)

1. For each of the major theories we've addressed (classical/neo-classical,
   physiological/biological (chapt 4), psychological, and moral development,
   assess the following:

      a) The historical context in which the theory developed
         (ie, what social/historical factors influenced it?)
      
      b) What is the definition of "crime/offense" (ie, legal?
         normative? transcendent?
      
      c) What are the key points of the theory?
      
      d) What kinds of questions is the theory best able or least
         able to address?
         
      e) Is the theory closest to liberal, radical, conservative,
         or libertarian ideologies?
      
      f) What are the policy implications of the theory? (ie, how do
         we implement it?
