POINTS:  UP TO 40 for debators

This assignment includes two types of points: Debaters who engage in a class
debate and those who attend the debate on WebBoard and those who respond
later.

The debates will address the THIS QUESTION.

NOTE:  Grading WILL NOT be done on whether one side wins or on debating
or presentational skills. The point is to do research and share ideas
by addressing critical issues. 

Teams will consist of two or three people, and two teams (one arguing
the negative, the other the affirmative) will address their chosen issue.
They may divide up the labor, including research and speaking tasks as
they wish. Members of each team receive the same grade.

Each side will present it's position in the form of a threaded
discussion.

After BOTH sides have presented their position, we will open it up
for questions/discussion from the audience. 

Audience participation will be graded as assignment points.
