WHERE SHOULD I BE AT THE END OF THE FIRST WEEK OF CLASS?

At the end of the first week of class, EVERYBODY was expected to have:

   a) contacted the instructor at the start of the class
   b) Visited the class homepage at 
      http://venus.soci.niu.edu/~jthomas/class/488/488.html
   c) signed up for the class listserv discussion list
   d) signed on to WebBoard
   e) Read the first two chapters in the text
   f) Posted *at least* twice on WebBoard
