HOW DO I DO THE WORK IF THERE ARE NO CLASSES?

The work will include discussion, reading, viewing films, and other
conventional course activities.

It absolutely crucial that you participate on WebBoard.

YOU MUST SIGN UP ON WEBBOARD NO LATER THAN THE END OF THE FIRST WEEK
OF THE START OF THE SEMESTER. 

YOU MUST SIGN UP ON THE CLASS DISCUSSION LIST BY THE FIRST DAY OF THE
SEMESTER.

If you do not, you risk falling behind. You should spend at least an hour
a week on WebBoard and post several (at least 3 substantive posts to meet
the average expectation for a grade of C). Quality, not quantatity, counts.
In addition, you must keep up on readings and assignments.

Because of work, family, or other obligations, it might be that it will be 
easier to do the work in some weeks rather than others. This is no problem,
assuming that more work is done on subsequent weeks.
