NOTES FOR NEW PEOPLE IN SOCI 488 - Delinquency/ONLINE

As some of you know, there was considerable confusion about the start of this
course and how many students would be in it. The cause was beyond our
control, but it affect all of us.

Now, it appears we have the cap set at 38 students (way too many, but
we'll have to all try to work around it).

The original core of students started work way back in early January. Then, 
we had to stop temporarily while the administrative issues were being
resolved.

Our first class meeting is at Hoffman Estates (I'll put the directions out
to you all in a few hours) this Wednesday from 6:30 to 9:15.

SO:  FOR THE NEW FOLKS WHO ARE READING THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME (there are
about 15 of you):

1. GO TO: WEBBOARD
and sign in IMMEDIATELY. Look around and introduce yourself and get
a feel for it. If you see a topic that looks interesting, start posting.

2. Make sure you have the book. Read chapter 1 and start chapter 2.
I'll be doing a lecture on these chapters.

3. Take a look at the class homepage
