Juvenile Rights

POINTS: Up to 20
Due: April 17

Juveniles have fewer rights than adults in searches, arrests,
interrogations, and other elements of the police/juvenile encounter.
Explain the historical reasons for these differences and how the rights
of juveniles have expanded in the past 30 years.

(Note: The intent of this exercise is to look at social and other factors
that underlie the processing of juveniles - you must not only identify
differences, but also briefly explain the influences that shaped them.
