Application of Theories

DUE February 25
POINTS: Up to 20
Length:  750 to 1,000 words (3 or 4 pages)

First, read  THIS STORY from the Chicago Tribune

Next, take any two theories from chapter 8 that you think might "explain"
this crime.
  a) Summarize each theory briefly
  b) Then, apply each one to "explain" the crime.
  
Third, summarize the strengths and weaknesses of each theory (ie, what
doesn't each explain? What are the good at explaining?
