In 1200 to 1500 words:

Why is American such a "drug using" society?

Answer should include:
  a) Factual defense that we *are* a drug-using society
     (DO RESEARCH TO GUIDE YOU IN THIS - Dept of Justice stats are good)
  b) Discussion of class/race/age and other demographic
     factors that underly drug use
  c) A theoretical explanation (drawing from a theory we have
     discussed) of why youths are using so many drugs (if they are)
     (See chapters 5-9)
  d) Drawing from the theory you used, what policies might be
     formulated to reduce the drug problem?
