Theory Exercise

This is an EXAMPLE of a clue:

DAY 1/CLUE 1: In its time, this theory was considered somewhat radical
because it suggested that crime/deviance is caused by the inability
of a society to provide the means to attain the legitimate aspirations 
of its members.

DAY2/CLUE 2: These theorists might see drug abuse as a way of adapting
to blocked aspirations by withdrawing.

This one is pretty easy--you've probably guessed Merton's anomie theory.
