Abstracting articles

REQUIRED: Up to 10 points
DUE: January 28
Length: About 300 words

This is an easy one: To make sure we're all on the same page and know how
to access online material, do this:

1) Obtain an article related the HISTORY of law from Jstor, a journal
online archive, or some other academic source. If you don't know how to
do this, check with others who do or ask your library how to do it.
YOU MUST USE AN ONLINE SOURCE, not a hardcopy/library source. The
intent is to make sure we all know how to use online resources to
peer-reviewed academic journals.

2) Summarize the article (after reading it of course). Don't just
copy the article's abstract. The assignment is for YOU to read and
summarize it.
Use this GUIDELINE to help thing
through your ideas.

3) Then, write a short (two pages, tops) essay/abstrct that summarizes
the article.
