Instructions for the presentations:

The presentations instructions are relatively simple:

1) Presentations will be done as a group

2) Each group organizes what they will do (eg, issues to emphasize),
how they will present it (panel discussion, class involvement/discussion,
skits, "games," videos, etc)

3) The groups will provide readings AT LEAST 8 days in advance (this is
CRITICALLY IMPORTANT). You may opt NOT to give readings, but IF YOU DO,
make sure the class has time to read them. Net-links are best.
If you are presenting on an "open" night with no specific topic or
readings assigned by the instructor, it is up to you to frame the topic
and present readings.

4) Grading will be a combined group grade (presentation, cohesiveness,
integration) and individual grade (knowledge of topic, fielding of
questions)

In general, any good-faith attempt to join the issues of a text is
acceptable for a presentation.
