Goffman - Presentation of Self

LENGTH:  1,200+ words (6 to 8 pages)

NOTE: The grade for this is assigned like we grade movies: For example,
a 5 on movie is a "C" - so 15 points would be a C on this paper. Don't
do it to BS - you have to know what you're talking about.

Read Erving Goffman's PRESENTATION OF SELF. Then:

1) Summarize the main points

2) Identify at least five concepts from the book (there are many! Some
of which we've already discussed, because I've drawn heavily from him)

3) Take one single concept; then, take some aspect of everday life
and apply the concept to it and to a theoretical analysis.

REMEMBER: NO BS!!!
