NET Treasure Hunts
Part of the fun of the net is finding little treasures of information.
Here, you will find occasional quests that are worth up to five points each.
Send them to me email or give them to me hard copy in class. Remember: You
MUST give the sources of the information for full credit.
These are MISCELANEOUS POINTS. I will put up one or two every weeks or so.
<> Quest #1 (due Feb 20) - Somewhere on the Net you can find at least 5
major newspapers that serve metropolitan areas of 1 million or more. Find
the URLs for at least five. (NOTE: You MAY NOT use Chicago, New York, or
Los Angeles).

<> Quest #2 (due Feb 20) - Somewhere in the U.S., a woman named
Janet Jackson is often confused with the singer of the same name. The
incarcerated Janet Jackson is serving natural life. In what prison is the
incarcerated Janet Jackson?
