HOW WILL THE COURSE BE TAUGHT?

Like all courses, the course will have a SYLLABUS and  ASSIGNMENTS.

In addition:

1) The course will be divided into eight (8) two-week modules on which
 ASSIGNMENTS will appear every two weeks.

2) To communicate with each other, the students will rely on WebBoard,
an interactive conferencing system. It is CRUCIAL that all students sign up
for WebBoard as soon as (or even before) the course begins.

3) We will use an online discussion group (listserv) for announcements.

4) There will be occasional "guest speakers/lecturers" from specialized
fields who will join the class on WebBoard to talk about what they do
and to answer questions. 

5) Online "real-time" chat will be used for occasional guest speakers
