GRADING:

Grading will be done on the basis of:
   a) Two "Take-home Exams (100 points each)
   c) One final paper of 15-20 pages (150 points)
   d) Class participation (50 points)
   e) Internet Exercises (150 points)

Course overview and Assignments

                SYLLABUS: DELINQUENCY (SOCI 488)

Juvenile Delinquency focuses on minors who commit crimes. In this
course,  we will examine theories,  definitions,  and trends in
delinquency. We will also discuss the juvenile justice system and
social responses to delinquency.


We will try to follow the following schedule, but changes
occasionally may be necessary. Therefore, you are responsible
for knowing what goes in in class as well as on the Net.
