GUIDING QUESTION: Loose Coupling or what?

Presenters:

We look at the criminal justice system as a set of integrated components. Today,
we examine how integrated they actually are. We will develop the concept of LOOSE
COUPLING, which is the slippaged (or gap) between what an organization does and
what it says it does. Today, we will focus on courts to suggest that the "ideal
model of justice," while useful, loosely couples the ideal practices of justice
with socially-constructed activity that can give us something less.
